Heads up YouTube uses push notifications, so uploads usually arrive within seconds. Other platforms are checked on a schedule, so their posts can take a few minutes to appear.
For TikTok creators

Connect your TikTok account.

Sign in with TikTok to let SCNX-powered Discord communities that follow you announce your new public videos automatically. You stay in control and can disconnect at any time.

  • What SCNX reads
  • Your public profile — username, display name, and avatar.
  • Your latest public videos — titles, thumbnails, and post dates.
  • Nothing is posted to your TikTok, and you can revoke access anytime.

Reliable delivery.

Older setups were unreliable: feeds went stale, sources broke, and notifications stopped for hours.

This service was rebuilt for SCNX's notification modules. It uses real-time push where platforms support it and scheduled checks where they don't, and it is well tested.

  • YouTube uploads are picked up in seconds using push, not polling.
  • Steady, predictable performance.
  • One service across many platforms, with room to add more.
  • Tested before every release.

Delivery times you can check.

We measure how long notifications take to reach your community and publish the figures, so you can see real performance instead of estimates.

Questions, answered.

Everything you might want to know before plugging a community in.

How fast are notifications delivered?+
YouTube uploads and go-lives are detected within seconds. Including the bot's poll cycle, most notifications arrive in well under two minutes. You can see the current figures on the delivery times page.
Which platforms are supported?+
YouTube uploads and livestreams are available now, and TikTok creators can connect their account on this page. Twitch, Threads, and Instagram are planned.
How do I set up YouTube notifications?+
Add the YouTube notifications module to your SCNX bot and point it at the creators you follow. Full setup steps are in the YouTube module docs.
Why might a notification be delayed?+
YouTube doesn't always announce a go-live the moment it happens, and the bot checks for new content on a short cycle. We detect changes as early as the platform allows, with frequent fallback checks so delays stay small.
Do I need to run any infrastructure?+
No. This is managed infrastructure behind SCNX. You configure a module in your SCNX bot and we handle the rest.
