Creator Integration - Terms (TikTok)

Effective: 8 July 2026

These supplemental terms apply to the TikTok integration of SCNX Creator Integration and supplement the SCNX Terms of Service at scootk.it/scnx-tos. The SCNX Terms of Service apply in full. In the event of conflict, the SCNX Terms of Service control, except where these supplemental terms address the TikTok integration specifically.

The terms used are not gender-specific.

§ 1 What you're agreeing to

(1) By connecting a TikTok account to SCNX Creator Integration, you accept these supplemental terms in addition to the main SCNX Terms of Service.

(2) Defined terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the main SCNX Terms of Service.

§ 2 What the service does

(1) We read your public TikTok content via TikTok's official sign-in and relay it as notifications to Discord communities that have configured SCNX to follow your account.

(2) Notifications contain only metadata (such as your display name, caption, thumbnail, and a link back to TikTok). We do not change, re-encode, or re-host your videos. Notifications link back to the original video on TikTok.

§ 3 Your responsibilities

(1) You confirm that the TikTok account you connect is yours, or that you are authorised to manage it on behalf of the holder.

(2) You confirm that you have agreed to TikTok's own terms of service and community guidelines, and that you are responsible for the content you publish on TikTok.

(3) You agree not to use the integration for purposes that would breach the main SCNX Terms of Service, TikTok's own terms, or applicable law.

§ 4 TikTok's involvement

(1) TikTok is the underlying platform. We read what TikTok makes available to us via their official sign-in.

(2) If TikTok changes its rules or what it makes available to applications like ours, we may need to change or pause parts of the integration accordingly.

(3) The service is not sponsored or endorsed by TikTok.

§ 5 Service availability

(1) We try to keep the integration running reliably, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. TikTok’s own systems may affect what content reaches Discord, and when.

(2) Outages or changes in TikTok's services are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of these supplemental terms.

§ 6 Termination

(1) Either party may end the connection at any time. You can disconnect from your SCNX creator dashboard or by revoking SCNX in TikTok's app permissions.

(2) On termination, we stop reading your TikTok account. If you delete your connection from the SCNX creator dashboard, we remove the associated data immediately, in line with the supplemental privacy notice.

(3) Termination of the main SCNX agreement also terminates these supplemental terms.

§ 7 Liability, governing law, contact

(1) Liability, warranties, governing law, jurisdiction, and contact channels are as described in the main SCNX Terms of Service.

(2) The supplemental privacy notice for this integration is available at /privacy. The main SCNX Privacy Policy is at scootk.it/scnx-privacy.
